SUMMARY The border of the vertebral body not only forms the geometrical junction between the curved and basal surfaces but develops independently as a bony ring. In the article a description is given of certain characteristic changes of the border of the vertebral body which arc of clinical significance (spondylosis deformans, degeneration of the disk, Bechterew's disease, injury, Scheuermann's disease).Downloads
