Summary This report reviews two groups of cases: 194 fracture dislocations of the hip reviewed in 1952, and a follow-up of 222 additional fracture dislocations of the hip seen since then. The report describes the methods of treatment used in terms of the various classifications of fracture dislocations of the hip and analyses the results, the complications and the comparative results in these two groups of patients. Recommendations as to the proper form of management for each type of fracture dislocation are presented.Downloads
