Four cases of sinus tarsi syndrome are presented. They were studied by means of arthrography of the posterior subtalar joint and his-tological examination of sinus tarsi soft tissue. The obliteration of synovial recesses on posterior subtalar joint arthrography can be explained by synovial hyperplasia and by cicatricial remodelling of ligament tissue.Downloads
