The annual meeting of the Norwegian Orthopedic Society is arranged in Oslo in October as a section of a joint meeting for all the Norwegian Surgical Associations. Every second year, a spring meeting is arranged outside Oslo. In 1987, the spring meeting was held in Ålesund, a town situated on the west coast of Norway. The papers of the two meetings in 1987 considered mainly experimental orthopedics, fractures, arthroscopy - including knee and shoulder surgery, lesions in the spine and hip, and orthopedic oncology.Downloads
