We treated 5 patients with soft tissue defects involving the skin and tendon with microsurgical transfer of vascularized tendon grafts from the upper lateral arm. All the flaps survived and recovery of motor function has been satisfactory. The advantages of a composite upper lateral arm flap are its versatility, constant anatomy, and skin sensibility.Downloads
